It’s Time

Towards the end of 2013, my life changed significantly for the better. I started to believe in God and met Clifton pretty soon after. We quickly began dating and got married in 2015, almost two years later. We moved to a different city, bought a townhouse, picked up our bird, and got a dog. I started working full-time as a graphic designer and Clifton continued to work full-time as a finish carpenter. Ever since then, our life has continually become more busy and overwhelming.
I’ve realized it’s time to make another significant change in my life. So, I’ve decided to start this project as a way to get our life back on track and feel more like myself again. I’ve actually been thinking about creating this personal blog for a long time, but it finally feels right this year. While I was trying to figure out how to launch this blog and what to write, I came across these verses in The Holy Bible:
I’ve always had big plans for what I want to accomplish through this blog. But after reading those verses, I knew my main objective should be to explore my soul, the universe, and the divine connection between them. I want to get close to God and truly know Him. I want God to be present in my marriage and our everyday life. I want to follow His prompts and fulfill His will. I want to know all the things He has made for me and all the ways He has made me for this world.
I’m so excited to embark on this journey and can’t wait to share all of it with you! But I’m also a little nervous too. I’m hoping that at some point I’ll be able to improve my life the way I desperately want to and somehow this project will become meaningful, but for now I’ll just have to trust in God.
